Since its inception in 1989, the gallery has presented a program of exceptional solo exhibitions and dynamic group shows. In autumn of 1999, the gallery moved from its original home in SoHo to its current location on the corner of 10th Avenue and 27th Street in Chelsea. In November 2011, the gallery opened its second location at 515 W. 27th Street, and in September 2014, a third space at 297 Tenth Avenue. Deborah Kass is currently on view at the Whitney Museum of American Art in I, You, We - the fifth in a two-year series of exhibitions which reassess the Whitney’s collection in anticipation of the Museum’s move downtown. The exhibitions explore overlooked developments in American art and reconsider iconic figures and works within new contexts. I, You, We will be on view 25 April - 1 September, 2013.
