Deborah Kass’s bold sculpture reads differently depending on where you’re standing: ”YO,” if you’re looking at it from Manhattan, or “OY,” if you’re in the Brooklyn park where it resides. Most of Kass’s work playfully pokes at the tropes of Pop art, and “OY/ YO” is no exception, referencing at once Ed Ruscha, Roy Lichtenstein, and Robert Indiana.
