On view at the Barbican Centre, Art Gallery from March 16 - June 19, 2016, "Strange and Familiar: Britain as Revealed by International Photographers", is a timely consideration of how international photographers from the 1930s onwards have captured the social, cultural, and political identity of the UK through the camera lens. The iconic British photographer Martin Parr curated works from social documentary and street photography, to portraiture and architectural photography by some of the leading lights of 20th and 21st century photography like photographer Tina Barney, Gian Butturini, Henri Cartier-Bresson amongst others.
